I agree with you on this Roy, I loved this CD from the first listen and love it more every time I hear it. and all this talk about it being SOOO sad, well I realize the content is not happy stuff but for some reason I don't feel down when I listen to it or get done listening to it. I feel very happy and lucky to have new Patty music that's amazingly good. Ronni Roy Larsen wrote:Ok, I don't know why I'm feeling so defensive of Impossible Dream reading this thread, but I am. So, I just want to go on record as saying I loved the album from the *first* play. This is the Patty I love. The one that touches me deep. Yahoo! It has been getting great reviews too. If you missed him in NYC on Sunday, you still have a chance to see him in New Jersey. He is playing a Living Room Concert in my home this Saturday night at 8PM. My guess is, she is writing songs all the time, and this is a better approach for her than sitting down at one or two sessions to write songs for a particular CD. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 26 Apr 2004 23:31:38 EDT From: Rockerpgh@aol.com Subject: Re: MM: Favorite songs? It was Jennifer Garner, though; check it out at http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/26/movies/26TWEE.html Then, I saw in the table of contents that there are two reviews inside, one CD by Sam Phillips and the other by Patti [something]. Looked closer, turned out to be Patti Smith. Not quite our Patty. ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V8 #100 *********************************
