For a while I thought I got unknowingly bumped off the list it was so quiet. After hearing the sound bits of the new album I can say I am psyched to hear it in full. Her voice sounds so clear, beautiful and pained. I also LOVE the cover. My only complaint is that the song "Standing" is on there. It is the ONLY Patty song I just can't bear to listen to. The style doesn't seem to be in keeping with the other tracks. She SHOULD have recorded that beautiful "Moons gonna follow me home" song that she sang on her last tour. The great thing about CDs these days is that I can just burn a copy and delete track 4 like it never was there once I buy the CD! Who knows, maybe I'll feel differently when I hear the whole thing. I'm just glad she has another disc coming, she is the only artist these days that I EVER get excited about. I appreciate her authenticity and unique songwriting ability. Most artist get caught up in the fame bullshit. Her feet seem to still be planted firmly on the ground. Anyway, look forward to the flury of Patty activity in the upcoming months and seeing her in NYC..
