I've only started the article but ND usually does a thorough job on their profiles so I encourage everyone to purchase March-April issue when it hits newsstands. The article has a bunch of pictures too. "just curious... is it just me or is everyone hibernating... cuz it seems awful quiet out there... are you all just waiting patiently for April 20th and then I'll be flooded with email? " Hi Sharon- as for me, well, I went out house hunting a few weeks ago and am now waiting for the closing mid March and am packing like mad- as well as working a lot so I have been off the computer more in an effort to get something done. Thus the halt in my weeding and gardening efforts over here. I am sure a few more weeds will crop up in April if you guys are still into it. You could do weeding also you know. It is a little sad to see this list be so quiet- it was doing pretty good last fall. Perhaps the new Cd will liven things up a bit! I am waiting also to hear of any rumors about a spring tour ?? I hope she hits the West coast! I will need a new Patty fix after moving which will happen during that SXSW festival so I won't be there. I wish she would be at Kate Wolf Fest this year but so far it does not seem like it. The lineup is ex. tho- Joan Baez- as well as lots of my other faves. I also am going to Strawberry again altho I am not familiar with most of the ac! ts- I just love that festival- I don't care who is playing altho Patty playing there again would be just perfect. cheers, Dana in Berkeley still- soon to be in Antioch- hoping the new Cd is a smash! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 14:25:30 +0000 From: "Charles Ott" Subject: RE: MM: RE: hibernating? To all MM'ers, I scooped it up and read it voraciously. It was very well written, I highly recommend it. I especially like the fact that many people who aren't as familiar with her or sort of know who she is, this article will spark some interest. Lots of great pictures as well. I am waiting impatiently! I've been travelling around a bit, not home much. Next Friday I'll be at the Library of Congress to see Buddy & Julie Miller perform, so that will be fun. I'm waiting for Patty's new disc, Julie's new disc (sometime in the spring or summer) and I need to get Garrison Starr's new disc, which I think has just been released. So I'm waiting, but impatiently... - -- SteveB Steve Berry scberry@yahoo.com http://www.stevencberry.com http://www.bainbridgehouse.com "Life is short, but wide." ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 23 Feb 2004 12:06:27 -0800 From: "Steve Del" Subject: MM: hibernating? I'm still here too Sharon. Maybe the mobile-internet economy is picking up because I have been sooo busy I haven't had time to write much here either. But I am anticipating the official release of Patty's new CD. And hopefully a West Coast tour leg too. Can't wait. - -SteveD "The further I go, more letters from home, never arrive...."
