I've been a member of this list for a few years now, had a spat with that Gregory guy before. Haha. And I'm pretty sure I met Dave, BEFORE I was a member of this list, so the only reason why he knows about me is because he and I were both member of another list for The Badlees. So there. And I'm pretty sure, since Dave is such a nice guy, if I was NEVER a member of this list, a few people would know of me from opening for Patty and Dave has a big mouth (j/k) and would have probably said a thing or 2 on here about me at some point, since you guys like to talk about the other music you listen too. I wrote something nice about Darcie Miner, Dave, who is a huge fan of Darcie, kidded "Who is Darcie" ( did you notice the ;-)at the end of his message) Mike the moderator of this forum did the same. Greg missed it and wrote that we should behave and that Jewel was a good artist also, garveygirl170 just followed along. I do not think there was and sarcasiam it was just a bunch of friends busting on each other. Please take notice that I did not include Tim in this because he really did make fun of me and I will deal with him myself ;-) Murph PS Darcie is really good, Patty is really really good, Jewels OK only kidding - -----Original Message----- From: owner-mad-mission@smoe.org [mailto:owner-mad-mission@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Mary Jo Watson Sent: Saturday, January 10, 2004 12:01 PM To: garveygirl70@comcast.net Cc: Greg.Willms@qwest.com; FlamingRed74@aol.com; jmphlbat@comcast.net; Mad-Mission@smoe.org Subject: RE: MM: Darcie Miner Hi, Being a new member to this mailing list, I've seen that we are a thoroughly loyal group of Patty fiends. However, I don't agree with using this venue to be sarcastic about other artists, i.e. Jewel ~ who, by the way, was at Lilith Fair with Patty. Jewel is a wonderful, insightful, soulful artist. You only need to make the time to listen to her music and hear the lyrics to know that. If you'd ever see her in concert, most especially, acoustically, you'd be smitten~ she's the ultimate person & perform towards her audience. I admit that her new CD is a bit off the path she originally had been on, but who says, as an artist, writer and composer, that you must stay in the same lane ALL the time? Let's be a little more intelligent in our e-mail responses. Thanks, Jo Sat, 10 Jan 2004 10:16:05 +0000, garveygirl70@comcast.net wrote: > > Wow - you guys are funny.
