I only listened to it once and am not sure if some of it is identical to the early tape she had that was used in LFML collection but there is still her between song chatter and several additional songs. Maybe someone could figure that out if the tracks are the same . Might as well make it a 2 Cd set so I will add another early one John sent me a while ago- Patty opening for Shawn Colvin at Orpheum Boston 2/28/97, with also HMV Records Cambridge, MA 4/11/02. Anyway- please ask only if you can reweed this one this busy week so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle and please send out both of them. Send mailing address privately to me. No B& P needed for this one. I am just going to do it and get it out. LOL! :) Dave, Jeff, John, Scott, Tom, & Ira all will reoffer and I hope to get the first ones out in the mail this morning- finishing up. If you want it, please ask them when they offer it back out. B&P or even trades. Listening to that Orpheum concert when she opened for Shawn, the background audience shuffling and yakking is so obvious. Boy, it was total attention at those Singersongwriter shows - Patty has their attention now all right! I saw her that same week at Green Hall in Northampton and I was just dying for her as I felt like the only one there who was familiar with her music- The audience was having a blast, but not paying much mind to her- also I thought the acoustics were terrible for her- sharp and whistly sounds from the mic etc. It was the very first time I had seen her live. I thought she was so brave to face Shawn's rowdy audience. So, I hope you all get to hear this round of Patty concerts. Didn't see any new additions on the mega tab resource that is Patty Griffin.net. Can someone please share their insights? Thanks! This was posted a while ago.The section that couldn't be figured out I believe is just G-A-Bm-A over and over. That's how I play it, anyways. Hope that helps! Zach - --- "Janet C.
