For my 30th birthday, my darling friend sweet-talked one of our clients into taping the SST Seattle show. In honor of this delicious delinquency, I am offering a weed of this show to the first five people to email me OFF LIST at gypsyjolie@yahoo.com. Sound quality is perfect - you can even hear the chatter clearly!!, though the show is recorded as one long track (1:17:28)...and is incomplete, just the length of one min-disc, but the encore is the same at all the shows anyway :)Holly Setlist ======= MCC- I Still Miss Someone (Johnny Cash cover) PG - Moses ("...oooh, that's a great idea...but I'm gonna do something else") SC - The Facts About Jimmy ("I feel very Wizard of Oz...") DW - The Beauty of the Rain ("...this song is about ... the crossroads of asshole") MCC- The Moon And St. Christopher ("...feeling alternately bereft and frisky") PG - Making Pies ("...did you say asshole pie?!?") SC - song from the Simpsons appearance / I'll Be Back (Beatles cover)("...we need Viagra Mic!") (Shawns outs Dar's pregnancy) DW - [that new love song for her husband that I can't remember the title] MCC- Girls Like Me PG - Little God ("my creepiest song I have..." - and she's not kidding) SC - Shotgun Down The Avalanche [missing Dar's last song, and the encore] ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Dec 2003 19:50:40 -0600 From: "Holly Booms" Subject: FW: MM: SST: weed for Seattle 11/16/03 McGaw Hall Dave's right - I am missing a bigger chunk of the show that I originally thought. It's still the best version of the SST I've heard, mostly because the talk between the women is so clear and easy to hear. just FYI to all who've asked to get the show from me. (wish I had the whole thing) Holly - -----Original Message----- From: Dave Doody [mailto:davedoody@hotmail.com] Sent: Monday, December 15, 2003 6:26 PM To: hbooms@tickets.com Subject: RE: MM: SST: weed for Seattle 11/16/03 McGaw Hall Hi Holly, Just FYI, I think you're missing more than just Dar's last song and the encore. I remember Patty doing "Perfect White Girls" at that show as well as "Tomorrow Night"...so I think there was at least one more round, if not two, of songs that was done... Thanks for offering, and I hope others take advantage of hearing (part of) that special night. It was an amazing concert!! I'm going to stick with my memories, though... A couple days later- she played it at Seattle!!!!! Smile on my face! Eventually I will get to hear this version too! Thanks, Patty! I hope she puts it on her next Cd too with the band- I love the way I first heard her do it back in Providence a couple of summers ago- was it '98? - so creepy, ya! I am hoping for Shells to come back to her set list also- I asked for that one too.
