I did not extract promises from 2 of them, but maybe they will also.:) Eliza Gilkyson was so very very good tonite at the Sweetwater Saloon in Mill Valley , CA . She did at least 2 1/2 hrs- had her son on drums and a great slide guitar player with her. She played for less than 30 people. It is a small bar type place, but the audience seemed to be there for her, attentive and increasingly supportive as the night went on. I brought another nurse friend who had never heard of her and she loved Eliza. We sat right up front- 10 feet away. I picked up her new Cd, Lost and Found, and surprise- Patty is singing backup on Heart of a Man, which I had heard, but forgotten about. As a matter of fact, I believe I heard it on this Gem concert where Eliza talks about that, altho Patty did not do backup for it that night. Very interesting harmony from Patty, as I am already familiar with the song, but never heard the harmony before. Afterwards I got to speak with Eliza and she seemed very appreciative of our coming out to hear her. Sharon just sent me a great 2 CD concert of Eliza's and I am sending it out with this Gem concert, hoping those who get it will give Eliza a serious listen. She is definitely worth the time. Right up there on my faves list since last year when someone kindly shared this Gem concert with me. See, sharing these concerts does bring the artists new fans. I hope those who weed this one out again will also pass on the Eliza concert as well. Anyone who has not yet received their discs from me, they are on their way to the post office following the writing of the e-mail, you should have them very soon. Please check your discs and feel free to let me know if there are any problems, I try to give them all a spin before they go out - but we're talking about over 100 discs here, do it's entirely possible that I may have missed the odd defect. Thanks for the trades!! EXCEPTION - B & P's - These are not done yet - in fact, I have received at least one package of blanks without a return envelope or address. If you have sent me blanks please write and confirm your shipping address for me and I will make sure that anyone who has sent blanks will get them back in short order. Thanks a lot everyone, Dave ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Nov 2003 14:37:28 EST From: RbSayre@aol.com Subject: MM: west palm beach p.s.
