Her voice would be perfect for it. Not necessarily better than Patty, though. David is her young adult editor at Scholastic. Dar has an unpublished book in the works and David is her editor. She dedicated one of her songs to him and explained he authored a book was dedicating it Tony based on Patty's song. Especially the interview part! I can pop it in any time I need a Patty fix! She is just so cute! How does everyone feel about the Rain video?? I was so excited to see it and was greatly disappointed. The cheif video I can watch over and over but the rain video doesn't even resemble Patty. And the animated Patty isn't even wearing vintage! No likeness at all! Fortunately, the music is. :o) I love Traci Goudie's graphics and photos, she did a so beautiful work with the 1000 Kisses project. At some point the music is undissociable of the graphics to me. The 1000 Kisses booklet is a work of art. Patty can be proud of having such nice and great people around her. And when she says she can't believe people listen to her, she's excessively humble! The fact is that it's hard today to find artists of such integrity and faith. That's why there's something special with her audience, we feel it in the live record (which sounds like a fine bootleg, and that's perfect like this - it's all about honesty). We don't hear the hysterical fans of the rock circus, but human people expressing their big love of a pure artist. I'll be coming from the Fort Lauderdale area, so if anyone wants to go but doesn't have transportation I don't mind picking someone up. Thanks, Roger ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2003 18:53:11 +0000 From: danalee7@comcast.net Subject: MM: Tracy Grammer Tracy did a beautiful show on Tues, a memorial really to the late Dave Carter, her partner in life and song. Afterwards we were able to chat a little and gave her a copy of Patty's set at Strawberry as she was also performing that day there and loved Patty as she had told Paul that day. I also gave her a copy of the Keswick SS tour for the road, so she can hear that one too. The first 5 people with full name and addresses email me direct. Sorry for the delay ~ : ) Shar ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V7 #280 *********************************
