Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has a skip-free, gap-free version of "Silver Bell"... I have a copy which I received from a fellow fan, but we have encountered similar problems - "Little God" skips around 2:15 into the track... Additionally, there are a few 4 second gaps towards the end of the album where the music is supposed to be continuous. I believe this can be remedied by a little MP3 editing (which I am going to have a friend of mine do). If anyone can help me out with a blemish-free copy of SB (B&P would be great), or can offer a clean, high-quality MP3 of "Little God," get back to me. Thanks y'all, Keith A. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 09 Oct 2003 08:14:19 -0400 From: Maureen Scott Subject: MM: Strawberry Weed Thanks to Bill, I am now in possession of the Strawberry Festival cd. By the way, I've been hard at work recording my debut CD for a small label and in November will be recording my cover of "Top of The World" if any of you are interested in hearing it. I'm also excited for the upcoming Milwaukee show. I've got fifth row seats! If anyone is recording these shows, maybe they should be the next round of weeds...let's keep this weeding up, it's doing a lot of good! Zach __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I will save 5 of the copies for Digesters who e-mail me with this digest included to give them a fair chance- all must include their mailing address so I can do this by tomorrow morning as I am off to the Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park for the next 3 days!!!!! I would also like to stipulate that I want to send this to people who can and will promptly burn and reoffer this one to the list and who have not yet been able to snag Strawberry- then, you can trade back when you do your own reweed. Get it? Trade. It will get out there. It will go slower than Strawberry did as I sent out almost 30 of them- not doing that again- I have other stuff I need to do. It will still get shared around, just be patient. The whole point of weeds is you send out a few and it grows. If the first bunch of you offer it mostly to people who will also ! reoffer it, and people who cannot do so wait, get the burners going on it first- that will help. It is not as organized as a CD tree, which is a huge project and headache- is much easier and only requires you guys to carry through and keep it up. I will include the Vin Scelsa show from "98 - Flaming Red days- songs and interview- to make it a 2 Cd effort. Lots of other lists do this and you guys did great for last week's Strawberry weed effort. I hope that one is still going around and will be offered some more. One more thing- As Patty is releasing a live concert this very month- Oct 14 I think release? as penance for this free stuff, you all must run out and get her new live concert DVD set- I cannot wait for that one either! Get it from Jen's Patty site and help her support the site- Even better, as double penance, for both Strawberry and ACL concerts- if you can afford to do so, I know everyone may not be able to- get an extra one and introduce someone new to Patty's music- I love to snag a friend for Patty and turn them on to her wonderful music and lyrics. At least trap them and make them watch yours.
