If any of you get the chance to hear this Tribute to Woody Guthrie- it would be well worth it as the 5 of them, Eliza Gilkyson, Jimmy LaFave, Joel Raphael, Michael Fracasso and Kevin Welch are all exc. and it is a good show. I have time tonite so will try to finish my promises to you and get at least some of them out in the morning. I met a girl sitting next to me and gave her a ride home afterwards- she had never heard of Patty- so she got my car copy of ACL. Mad Missionary here. I went over to Amoeba on Haight and managed to locate a copy of an Innocence Mission Cd - Befriended- which I was recommended to get from the Buddy and Julie Miller list which I just joined last week. I love the voice of that girl Karen Peris and got to listen once thru the whole Cd while enduring traffic on my very favorite Bay Bridge at rush hr. Very sweet and calming voice- just what I needed too. No jangled nerves. Kind of Enya like, only not quite so much tranquility as Enya projects. Between 3 new B&J Cds, Eliza's Hard Times In Babylon and this new one, I am branching out a little. Oh yeah and Greg Brown too. Got em all on rotation tonite. I listened again all the way through ACL on the way over and it is really a good show. I love that guitar of Doug's on last song Let Him Fly. Mary is very compelling. So is Truth #2- upbeat- swings you right into it. Her hometown audience was in her hand. I hope you enjoy it. I had to put the music today one there though for ATO. I'll try to put a link on the main page to make it easier. - Jen - -----Original Message----- From: owner-mad-mission@smoe.org [mailto:owner-mad-mission@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Sharon Bolton Sent: Friday, October 03, 2003 1:37 PM To: Lindee Cc: Mad-Mission@smoe.org Subject: Re: MM: DVD I was just ordering it as you wrote in...
