If the set gets revised at some point with these tracks deleted, it may be possible to try this again, but for now I have to cancel the effort. I was knee deep in requests too and it was so satisfying to be able to help so many of you finally hear this set. Thank you for all your kind comments about it and I hope that it will materialize for you all sooner or later. I don't want anyone to get in trouble and I don't want to be banned from the list for not complying with the request not to tree it at this time. Sooo, I am going to delete all your requests and if it comes up again, we will start all over with sign-ups. It was kind of interesting to see how many of you are out there lurking, lots of new people and about 3/4 of you do not have disc 1 and 2 yet altho we treed it a couple of years ago. See you around on the list and maybe at Strawberry, Central Park, Ledyard, Santa Rosa and San Francisco concerts coming up in the next couple of months! Yup- both coasts- I am off to Ct for week in Sept just when Patty will be there! I have to tell you that I saw Shawn and Mary Chapin close Kate Wolf Festival here in June and it was such a fun set- they are really great together and I also love Dar and Catie so I am very delighted with this lineup! Check out http://www.christinaward.com SHe's an awesome young singer/songwriter who lives in Pennsylvania...I've seen her play in a NYC a few times... She's powerful, soulful, and sweet and shy...reminds me of Patty in some ways. Doesn't have flaming red hair, although she's got very long dark hair and she's somewhat like Patty in the large eyes, seemingly frail, yet powerful as all hell...and incredibly nice and sweet. I'd love to see Christina open for Patty one day...who knows...maybe it'll happen? In the meantime, check her out! I post any Patty review I come across , even those few that criticize her. Thought Aimee's music was Ok , & if I had stayed , I'm sure I would have had positive comments. I did forget to mention Julian , who was good. I spoke to him for a min or 2 , & comp- limented his music. Pointing out exceptional vocals on "The Asshole Song" , & a bass piano composition on "Rock Star" that I liked a lot. Peace & Music , Don > Ok Don, I was going to walk away from that disparaging review, but since you > put the review on the web, which you didn't have to do, someone must respond. gone ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V7 #207 *********************************
