It seems as tho many have not participated in these Cd trees before and I am guessing that some may not have disc 1 and 2 of this set. I figure I might as well take advantage of so many volunteers to give new folks a chance to acquire the complete set which is the rarities collection put together by several members of our list over the past few years. So,,,,any branch volunteers who do not have disc 1 and 2, if you will let me know, I will send you the complete set, and forward 3 leaf people who also need the 3 Cd set and you can pass it on to them. I f I do not hear from you, I will assume that you do not need disc 1 and 2 so I will send only disc 3 and forward up to 10 leaves that need only disc 3. How is that? If I flub up and lose someone's address, just e-mail me again if you don't hear from anyone regarding this. I am deleting all but 1 message from each person and am concerned I might lose you, but my e-mail holds only so much mail and I am behind reading as it is. Put LFML 123 branch or LFML 123 leaf in the subject line if you want to be included in this group to help me sort you out if you need all 3. Since many of you seem to be new at this, let me explain a few things. I already told you that we do not exchange money for these collections as a matter of honor- they should never surface on EBAY etc. They are done by fans for fans solely to share Patty's music that is unobtainable in any other way. It is a rare gift and opportunity that we have. I will send my discs out to branches in the next few days, maybe today- if I have their mailing address. I will forward leaf requests to you as well. You can contact these leaf people, tell them you are their branch person and make arrangements for either just sending it to them if that is easier for you without trading, do an even trade if they can trade back, or request them to send you blank Cds and SASE- self addressed stamped envelope which does make this process much easier for branches. Ideally it should not be an expense for branches to do leaves this favor- it is a gift of their time but at least it should not also be an expense, so leaves really should cover the costs. If you have never done this before even as a leaf, just buy a 10 pak or more of 80 min Cds and either a few bubble paks or lately I am using white envelopes that are available at Staples or other similar stores- postage is minimal then- I use first class postage for small packs like this unless it is a large trade, then I use Priority Mail - to make it as inexpensive as possible. Do not use fiber filled envelopes as dust can be a problem. Branches may wait for you to send them your discs, or make them up ahead of time and accept your discs later as they prefer. Some people have preferences on cd brands. I am using Imation right now as that is what we have. I write the title in fine point marker only- no heavy markers. You can also send a return label if you want for the branch person to reapply to the original envelope instead of sending 2 envelopes. I often recycle these envelopes anyway - just put new labels on. Anything else? Enjoy.
