They sound awesome. They will be performing at Shuba's (one of my favorite venues) in Chicago at the end of the month. I'm totally looking forward to the show. I love checking out new talent - especially female musicians. Thanks again! I haven't gotten their CD yet (I'll probably do so tonight), but I went to their website (www.eastmountainsouth.com) and they have four songs on the intro page, including the one I'd heard, "Hard Times." It's a man and a woman, both of whom sing, play music and write, and they sound great together or separately. And they're opening for Tracy Chapman on her tour. I'm guessing some other people on the list have heard about them, but I figured I'd make sure everyone on the list at least had a chance to do so and maybe find someone new to listen to while waiting for Patty's next musical gift.
