They really put on a great show. Of course I was all too happy to hear them play Patty's "Truth no.2" and "Top of the World". I must say, they did an excellent job with each (in my opinion). "Top of the World" was the second to last song of the night. What a way to end the show. I was almost in tears when the song was over. The string arrangement was unbelievable. I was a little dissapointed when they didn't mention Patty, I know they have before other performances. But nonetheless, it was beautiful. SBC Yahoo! I have just discovered that on the Hal Leonard website, which I guess is basically sheet music and stuff, there is a Patty Griffin Songbook available for 19.95. I don't know if this is one and the same that we heard about coming out "later this summer", but here's what it has on it: Contents: Let Him Fly Makin' Pies Be Careful Mary Rain Goodbye Chief Blue Sky Mad Mission Moses Poor Man's House Sweet Lorraine Change Tony Long Ride Home One Big Love Now, for those of you in the know, maybe you can tell me if this is the real deal, or some random rip off of Patty, making money for the wrong people. Hopefully, it is for real and authorized by Patty herself. Just wanted to share, Becca _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2003 14:35:11 -0400 From: "Guy S. I'm going to look for one. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Jul 2003 14:33:41 -0400 From: JAMES MURPHY Subject: Re: MM: Patty Griffin Songbook It is the one and the same and it is very nice.
