Hi everyone, I am in the process of booking my last tour through the U.S. At least until I return from London somewhere down the line... (I'm moving there this coming Sept.) I would really like to fill most of my dates in California, Oregon & Washington with HOUSE CONCERTS. I am asking you to please consider hosting one for me. Believe it or not, they are relatively painless to put on and only require a bit of furniture moving, a little word of mouth to get your friend's and family to come and a night. I have a more detailed blurb on hosting one, as well as links I can send if you are interested...and I'm very happy to help you in any way I can with the planning etc... My music is acoustic-based, with a big emphasis on story-telling "in" the songs as well as "in-between". You can hear my music and read more about me @: http://www.ChristeneLeDoux.com I'm on the road full-time but always have my mobile with me: 615.473.1411 (Nashville, TN #) Thanks so so much and please feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions. Also feel free to forward this on to anyone you think would be willing to host a house concert for me. Thanks! <3 hugs, Chris ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Jun 2003 14:18:41 -0400 From: SwimFairy13@netscape.net Subject: MM: Patty enthusiasm! It's so nice to see that you & Insley are still continuing your Patty enthusiasm. If you're like some of us here, this will continue building until you see her live, then it will seem pretty close to an obsession.. and that'll last for a few years, until you finally actually start listening to other artists again. Then, every time you hear Patty again after a slight layoff you'll wonder why you ever listen to anyone else.. HEE. DAVE. I LOVE YOU TOO NOW! HEE. Continuing our enthusiasm! You make it sound HARD or something! Heeee. I've been called obsessed already, and I haven't seen her live yet. I AM though, in Pittsburgh this summer. I don't care if I have to hitchhike. I'm GOING. And I don't think I'm ever going to listen to another artist again, unless Patty herself hands me a bunch of CDs and says, "Here's my personal CD collection, and somewhere in there you'll find a few autographed pictures of me, and I've filled out the adoption forms, your room is being painted now, you can move in on Monday, and just...listen to the CDs." HEEEEEe. That would be so great. Oh, and, just to add to the obsessed factor, I'm teaching myself Mother of God and Night on the piano. I've already learnt Peter Pan. HEE. LOVE! I've been stymied by this, too. It's listed on both Patty's and Aimee's official sites, but I can't find any other information about it anywhere. I'd like to drag my Delaware friends out to meet my Pittsburgh friends and go to the concert, so I need some info to start selling the idea. - -Amanda In a message dated 6/2/2003 8:30:29 AM Eastern Standard Time, aka_illali@yahoo.com writes: > I looked at ticketmaster as well > as the Chevrolet Amphitheatre's websites and have not > found any info about the festival. It is a festival that is being run by a radio station or so I am told and the tickets will go on sale soon as part of the stations promotion. Not sure which station or organization is running.
