I never make posts like this, but I couldn't hold back. We all make choices. If you chose to donate to a charity, that was your choice. No one on this list could force you to do that. If you didn't want to donate, you shouldn't have. Receiving nasty email from a stranger should not make you do something against your will. You have freedom of opinion as do those that sent their opinions to you. Ignore those that you don't like and make your own choices. Just don't sound like a victim. PS - I hate to start a long thread over this. So, I hope I have the willpower to not respond to any future posts! :) - -----Original Message----- From: Kaycee973@aol.com [mailto:Kaycee973@aol.com] Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2003 10:23 AM To: "Scott Antall" Subject: RE: MM: donation that was dignified. thanks for emailing me seperately like others who have more class have done to try to find out what the problem was. its not about bitchin.. its about the lack of freedom of opionion on this list and how the will of others is shoved down your throat. i got some pretty nasty letters. dont tell me u have never done something that u didnt want to do. dont tell me that u never gave into pressure. i dont appreciate your statement. but thanks for adding your 2 cents. ~kim ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 06 Mar 2003 10:41:02 -0500 From: Matt Fotter Subject: Re: MM: donation > -----Original Message----- > From: Kaycee973@aol.com [mailto:Kaycee973@aol.com] > > its about the lack of freedom of opionion on > this list I've been ignoring the whole donation thing. But I must admit, of the 60+ listservs I am on, mad-mission is by far the least tolerant of all of them. Back to ignoring this thread. m - -- matt@fotter.com Stand here. LOL - My companies software includes SQLServer among its supported platforms. I am amazed at how many shops I visit where sa/sa still works! m- - -- matt@fotter.com I fixed that last night.
