I just got back from debut gig. What a disaster!!!!! Or atleast it felt like that anyway. It's hard to be objective about it when your doing it but I was so overwhelmed. My mind was raceing, i couldn't let go of the mistakes that I made, I began sweating profusely, and I felt trapped on stage. It was scary! By the time I settled in it was over. It was a great experience tho, and I learned a lot. It's all a process of growth. Next time I'll prepare better and know what to expect. The important thing is that I did it! Tonight I fulfilled a dream that I've had for over 10 years, and I'm proud of that. It also makes me appreciate Patty that much more. It's so hard to just do things right when your up there, never mind captivating an audience. She is amazing at it. I wish I had 1% of waht makes her great. Anyway, thanks again for the support. Until next time...Mike ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 3 Mar 2003 16:36:31 -0500 (EST) From: Subject: Re: MM: gig LMFAO!!! Sounds like a great experience. Alot like I felt during the stock market crash of 2000. But it lasted a lot longer than one night. Did ya a least get laid? That's what performing is all about anyway. LOL! Good for you man. By the way you have more than 1% of what it takes. The balls/ovaries it takes to get on stage to do anything, sing, act, etc., counts for about 30% in my book. Evil > Thanks for your support guys! I discovered Patty's music a year and a half ago and have been listening to it ever since. I am looking for copies of both versions of Love From My Lips. I will be buying a new computer soon - with a burner - and will be MORE than happy to burn new copies for other ppl who want them once I work out the software. If anybody willing to burn me a copy would email me I would very much appreciate it... I had asked awhile back, and I thought I sent out a blank CD to someone so they could copy it, but I never got it back. Thanks for your help, Melissa ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 3 Mar 2003 16:16:32 -0800 (PST) From: Ronni Heggen Subject: Re: MM: NPC: halfway naked I'm just wondering if anyone here happens to know who sings this song-i've heard it on the folk rock station on cable but my tv won't give me the info--all i can remember are the words "I'm halfway naked" and it's a female artist. anyone know???
