I'm pretty sure this is not how Patty plays it and the TAB on the Patty site has it as a DADGBD tuning. But then again, Patty's got more that one "good" guitar and a guy that tunes them off stage for her. :^) Roy - ------------- DADDAD tuning No capo to play to the CD D* (004000) Asus7 (002200) D (000000) D** (bar 12th fret harmonic) A (777777) G (550000) Asus7* (070000) D* Asus7 D D** She sees him laying in the bed alone tonight D* Asus7 D D** Only thing a touching him is a crack of light A G Pieces of her hair are wrapped around and 'round his fingers Asus7* D Asus7 And he reaches for her side for any sign of her that lingers G D And she says you are not alone laying in the light G D Put out the fire in your head and lay with me tonight - --------------------- For those interested in the tab, here is a rough approximation. Cali! I don't need anything in return and I don't have any connections, but some places you might try are The Mint, Temple Bar and Genghis Cohen. I have seen some great musicians at all three and know they have live music nearly every night of the week. Have you ever heard of Kris Delmhorst? If not, she's a great female singer/songwriter out of Boston who's either played or will play all 3 venues. All fairly small and cozy and draw people who are there to listen to good music. Knowing you appreciate Patty, I'm sure you'll like her too www.krisdelmhorst.com . Hope that helps, and I'll definitely come see you when you're in town.
