Sorry to bother you guys with this. I thought for quite a while before I decided to. Just seems that there might be some people here who can help me. Sarah's minidisc question made me think to ask. Can anyone out there transfer audiotapes to CD? I don't do this a lot, am not going to make a habit of it, and actually seldom enjoy evening listening to live music. So I'm not going to buy anything. But I will pay someone who is set up to do this and has the desire to. I have The Band's Last Waltz concert on three audio tapes, made from the soundboard (at least originally). But there's stuff on there that didn't make the movie, and, well, it's just cool. But the tapes were loaned and I need to return them to my friend so I'd like to have a CD copy for myself. Sorry if this is an inappropriate venue for this request. I asked everybody I could think of and can't seem to get any help. Thanks. Ed, I have the capability to transfer cassette tapes to cd. Let me know if you still need this done. I'm happy to do it free of charge. Maureen Ed Felker wrote: >Sorry to bother you guys with this. I have also met her twice and she did seem very shy and quiet. Very sweet though. Lorri Deyer wrote:i don't know patty personally but both times I've met her she seemed terribly shy. Gracious, yes. But still shy. This I think, would be a nightmare for her, stuck with fans for three days and not knowing what to say or how to be...but good idea if you could get her.
