As I have said, that CD is simply terrific and often innovative. But everytime you listen to it you should think how Patty is getting NOTHING for all that effort. My campaign to send Patty cash for "Silver Bell" was a short-lived pipe dream (I knew that going in), but her present label suggested that each time you get a copy of "Silver Bell" the best thing you could do for Patty is purchase a copy of "1000 Kisses" and give it to a friend. That is a great suggestion. "1000 Kisses" would make a great stocking stuffer!!! So, I say, ho-ho-ho and to all "1000 Kisses." Her present label says "the best thing you can do is buy a copy of her one CD which is on OUR label". LOL This DOES help Patty, and it is a very good idea. I'm not knocking it... but it's just funny that they just don't say to buy an extra concert ticket & take a friend, which would benefit Patty much greater than the small percentage she would get from buying her CD. Once again, this is not knocking the idea of helping Patty in one way or another for the work she put in to provide us with the greatest music of our generation. She deserves all the money she ever gets (ten-fold), so whatever way you show your appreciation is good.. I was just pointing out her label's comical business-like point of view. ;-) The collecting money & actually handing it over to her could be intimidating for her, but was also a VERY good idea which I would be in on in a second.
