I've heard from an extremely reliable source that Patty has recorded a song for an all-star Patsy Cline compilation tribute album. My first guess for what song she sang was "Crazy" but instead I was told she recorded "Faded Love". Does anyone heard anything more on this, like when it might be coming out or where we can get it? My love for Patsy Cline goes as deep as it does for Patty, and the thought of having a record like this sounds really cool to me. BTW, a pre-announcement for the Dixie Chicks fans, they have two video taped TV specials which are in the works... one is a CMT "Crossroads" they have done with James Taylor (!!!!) and another is a huge NBC special concert with the chicks. The two shows are still in production, but I imagine they'll start making announcements for them both really soon. I'm excited!! I'm wondering if Patty or her songs will be showcased.... I'm betting they just might.
