I work in a used books & music store in Chattanooga, TN. A woman I work with on Fridays & Saturdays is a fellow Patty fan. She and I have been to a couple of her shows together & hope to enjoy many more. I've always shared the boots I've gotten with Tabitha because all she had was FLAMING RED & LIVING WITH GHOSTS. She has a copy of FR in her employee "hold" box at work (she had sold a few of her cds for text book money, but they're held until she can afford to buy them back.) She sweet-talked the cd store guys into playing FLAMING RED for us today since their other choices had been so awful (in our opinions.) When one of them wandered through the book store, she thanked him for playing her requested cd. He said it wasn't a good idea to play it while the cd store manager was there....We couldn't figure out what would make it objectionable He explained that 4 customers had asked about it & then for it & the store policy is to sell whatever a customer asks for, so playing something you either own, or want to own, is risky. The guys had covered for Tab, telling customers it was already sold. We thought it was great that people had been that into Patty's songs...it didn't play one cut after another, either. It was in a rotation of several other discs. It's good to know she's appreciated. Encouraging... The lyrics and the tabs are now updated with the new databse system taking all suggestions into consideration. I am now ready to unveil my pride and joy... the tour archive database. http://www.pattygriffin.net/PattyInConcertDB.php You can search tour dates by year, state, or any combination of the two. For instance, if you want to see all dates Patty played in Texas in 1998 choose Texas from the State menu, 1998 from the Year menu, and choose "Both" as the Search By criteria. You will see 10 dates show up which are all that I've been able to dig up. (as always, if you know of more please let me know!) If you just want to see the current tour dates, just select "Current dates" and press Search and all the dates beyond todays date will show up. As always, I would love feedback - let me know what else you would like to be able to search by, etc. Hope you all like it! - Jen P.S.
