Hmmm...I'm not sure it's as simple as you make it seem Mimi. From what I understand, retaining 100% publishing rights is extremely difficult these days. I'd be very surprised if she was able to do that. (Admittedly, I'm no expert on the subject so I'm interested to hear from others who might know more about it). Furthermore, the business of touring, promotion, recording, etc. is a rather expensive one...one that I'm not sure we could make a reasonable guess at unless someone could give us firsthand information. Don't forget about taxes too, which, for a self-employed muscian would be around 30-35%. c *********************************************** Carl C. Hi C, I didnt calculate a penny of her *own* work... LWG, FR, 1kK, song royalties, concert ticket sales, CD sales royalties, and the like. I was talking about her extra income that came from loaning out three little songs to the chicks---totally separate from any money that comes from her OWN royalties from her OWN records, see? So the expenses of her own work goes against the expenses of her own income from that work, which would show her making even MORE money than what i mentioned. With LWG and FR selling over 100,000 units each..... :-) Mimi ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V6 #318 *********************************
