She did do it on the Dixie Chicks tour. It was the highlight of her Vegas set for sure. They did the entire new album, including Truth #2 and Top of the World. I was really impressed with both. I think their version of Truth #2 has a little more attitude, and they put a 15 piece orchestra behind Top of the World. Top of the World got a huge standing ovation. They told a few stories mentioning Patty, including how impressed with her they were when she was on the FLY tour. All in all, approach it with an open mind. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Aug 2002 00:21:10 -0700 (PDT) From: Amy Leonard Subject: MM: radio play Hey all, Patty's second single is starting to get lots of play. Dave, I guess all those wires wrapped around your body in the men's room, at the bar before the show in Harrisburg, paid off. LOL! Thank you so much for the CD's. I will make this up to you in spades when next we meet. Sandy says thanks for what would appear to be never ending thoughtfulness on your part. It has not gone unnoticed. Is that Karla or Don that "burps" on track 5? LOL! Gary and Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 17 Aug 2002 20:25:20 -0400 From: "Lisa Zwick" Subject: MM: Re: Dave is the man! I agree!
