It is www.saucegirl.com It is a website specializing in selling the best, rarest and most gourmet sauces availiable. Please read the following message from my sister-in-law and then if you have time, check out the website. I am sure you are all aware of how hard it is to get started in the dot com business, so feel free to order hundreds of dollars in sauces :-) Dont forget to check back as they will be adding new sauces frequently! thanks, Chris Hello everyone, I just wanted to send a letter out to all my friends and family to inform you about my new business. We have started a web business called Saucegirl.com. This web site went up live on Tues. 7/16 please check it out at www.saucegirl.com. The company I was working for was sold back in January and all of the employees were let go. This was when Bob and I decided we would like to try to get into business for ourselves. We tried to think of a neat product we could sell on-line. At first I thought maybe nostalgic candy? Then Bob came up with Hot Sauces. After a couple months of research we came up with Saucegirl. Saucegirl will not carry every hot sauce made however; we will sell quality items that have all been taste tested by us. We have Hot Sauces, BBQ sauces, Mustards, Bloody Mary Mix, books ect... for sale on our site. Most items will be stocked in our warehouse (AKA Home office). We will be adding some more items very shortly. We will also have a whole line of saucegirl products available soon. We will have Saucegirl hot sauces, salsa, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, steak sauce, stuffed olives and T- shirts for sale. There is a lot of competition out there for selling hot Sauces. However, I have spoken with many, many companies over the last couple of months about products and business. Everybody is willing to help each other in any way they can. Many companies have told me how to get started, things I should do and things I should not do. With this, I feel this will be a very fun and exciting business to run. Everybody in this business works to help each other and not hurt each other. Thank you to all who took part in our taste test back in April. We had the taste test to get opinions on different sauces to use for our Saucegirl label. We still need to make some decisions on some new products and will be having another taste test soon. This way we can finalize all the products for our own label. I have to say a very special thanks to my wonderful husband Bob who put my whole web site together. Without his hard work there would be no Saucegirl web site. By the way Bob's site www.bandcentralusa.com is doing very well. He has over 30 bands signed up and his site gets about 100 hits a day. Thanks to all for passing the word on. Also, a big thank you to our friend Zac for creating the Saucegirl logo. It turned out great! We are so happy with the design. This will look great on our sauces and T-shirts. Thank you for all your hard work. Please check out some of Zac's incredible art work at www.mindspring.com/~zknight/ Please check out my site and tell us what you think. If you know any chileheads, please let them know about www.Saucegirl.com. Sorry about the repeat.... mike ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jul 2002 18:10:32 +1200 From: "Karen Hester" Subject: MM: Dixie Chicks covers When I saw 'Top of the world' listed on Amazon's tracklisting for the new Dixie Chicks album, it struck me that that song and 'Truth #2' are among the 'Silver Bell' songs listmembers most want released by Patty. And now ... does this make it less likely that Patty can sing them? It certainly makes sense that with such a big release, the agreement to cover the songs would include Patty not releasing her own versions a few months earlier. Imagine '1000 Kisses' with those two, it would be fuller and richer, and longer! Then after the Dixie Chicks renditions become well-known, Patty might feel like the songs have been 'done' and exist out there in a perfectly fine condition - she does seem to move on from songs she has written a while ago, even if she hasn't recorded them. Ack. True, but imagine those songs with an accordion drowning patty's voice out. Best left on Silver Bell. Date: Mon, 15 Jul 2002 22:08:56 EDT Hey Guys, I have put together a new Patty Ddouble Live Compilation that I'd like to share with those of you on the list. Originally, I had planned on doing a 2 disc live set, featuring the Keswick show. Once I got an absolutely amazing recording of the Whitaker Center show, I changed my mind on that. Included on the 2 discs is the full Whitaker Center show from Harrisburg, PA on 6/24/02. Also, there will be 17 tracks recorded from various locations throughout her Spring/Summer tour. The track list looks like this: Disc 1- Whitaker Center 6/24/02 1. Chief 2. Rain 3. Making Pies 4. Be Careful 5. Long Ride Home 6. Flaming Red 7. Poor Man's House 8. The Moon Follows Me Home 9. Band Intros 10. Truth # 2 11. Goodbye 12. Boss Chat (Patty talking to ME about The Boss, this needed to be it's own separate track! basically it's just Patty talking, and me giggling & agreeing with everything she says ..LOL) 13. Stolen Car 14. Mad Mission 15. Mil Besos 16. Tomorrow Night 17. Sweet Lorraine 18. 10 Million Miles (from Portland, OR 6/2/02) Disc 2 1. Moses (songs 1-6 are from the Keswick Theatre 5-2-02) 2. Falling Down 3. Tony 4. Racing In The Streets 5. Let Him Fly 6. Mary 7. Forgiveness (Buffalo, NY 6/26/02) 8. Florida (songs 8-10 from Ram's Head 4/29/02) 9. Poor Man's House 10. Nobody's Crying 11. You Never Get What You Want (Somerville Theatre 4/26/02) 12. Ballad Of Hollis Brown (The Ark 4/21/02) 13. Ruby's Arms (The Birchmere 5/1/02) 14. Top Of The World (Birchmere) 15. Dirty Old Town (w/Michael Fracasso, Somerville) 16. Save Her Love (w/Michael Fracasso, The Ark 17. Mama (Darcie Miner- Whitaker Center 6/24/02) What I would like to do is get a list of those people interested in getting this compilation. Also, if you could please let me know if you could make copies for others on the list, that would be great. Hopefully enough people will volunteer so that no one has to make TOO many copies. To those of you who had already expressed interest in this, please remind me by sending another email because my dog ate the original list (I know, I know, likely excuse but TOTALLY true...) For those making copies (the branches).. You can work out with your leaves what you will receive in return for the CDs. It should either be 2 blank CDs & cost of shipping, the cost of 2 Cds & shipping.. or maybe you can work out a trade for other music that the 2 of you are interested in. Absolutely NO PROFITEERING should occur... or I'm sicking The Evil One on you.. ;-) To review. Those interested shoot me an email with "Whitaker Center", or "Patty Tree" somewhere in the subject line. If you can make copies, let me know. Even if it's only a few copies, that will help immensely. Let me know how many copies you would be willing to make as well. OK?? :-) Everything is done & ready to go.. so I'm going to allow people so sign up for approximately a week before setting everything up as far as branches/leaves etc. My plan is to get copies sent out to all the branches before my Patty expedition with the now World Famous Don in a few weeks. Take care, & Happy Patty listening!
