Anybody have any idea who (if anyone) will be opening for Patty in Rochester? ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Jun 2002 16:35:54 GMT From: Jon Schneider Subject: MM: Patty In Chicago and Elsewhere Bad news (at least for me). Patty's show at Fitzgerald's has been cancelled/postponed. Apparently she is cancelling several club dates in order to tour with the Chieftains. I was told this by whoever answered the phone at Fitzgerald's today. She cancelled the show on Friday. This must explain the St. Louis show as well. I don't know if any other published dates were affected. I'm bummed. Jon ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! I talked to the venue and they said that they would have the new date by Friday. Drat, drat and double drat! Oh well, now I can go to the Winnipeg Folk Fest that weekend. I was willing to miss it for Patty, but now I'll get to do both. So this is a blessing, right? And Patty gets to tour with the Chieftains, which is good exposure for her. I seem to remember Sarah MacLachlan doing that a few years ago, and things went pretty well for her! Keeping my fingers crossed for a new date that isn't during my trip to California-- LouAnn ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Jun 2002 16:18:53 -0400 From: "Don Henn" Subject: MM: Re: Free Patty Tickets Thanks for first shot , but I screwed up as I was trying to get everything done & get organized for the next trip. I forgot the first one I ordered , & got another one. Now I have an extra one too. First response. No charge. Her short bio says she's classically trained , but now all over the map. Sounds interesting. Then a rock group , Stone Coyotes. Milestone's site previously had the show starting at 10 , but it's been changed to 7.
