Hey guys,

I just got news from a reliable source that our very own, incredibly 
talented, fellow MM'er Darcie Miner will be opening for The Almighty Patty G 
@ the beautiful Whitaker Center in Harrisburg, PA on 6/24.  How sswwEEEETTT 
is that!?!?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the very 1st time 
that a list member has actually opened for Patty!!!!   

So, I will take this opportunity to also announce that I have started the 
very 1st Darcie Miner Band emailing list. It's on the smoe lists, just like 
this one.  Darcie will be opening for the Edwin McCain tour as well.  

People have sent me private emails asking about Darcie from time to time, so 
this would be a great way for those of you who are interested to keep up on 
all things Darcie.  There is a loose mail, and a digest version of the list, 
just like here on the MM list.  I'd be happy to see a few of you over there 
as well.  No Evil One, you're NOT invited!  I've yet to figure out how to 
boot you off if you started causing trouble & the majority wanted you OUT!

Wow, let's all give a great big round of applause for Darcie!  This is 
something she has always looked forward to doing.  Opening for Patty G!

I'll tell you what I about peed myself!  I got a call, and then I was told and
all I could say was "SHUT UP!"  lol
I wonder what to play.....  Don't worry EG, you only have to sit thru a half
hour of me.  : (
I'm fuckin out of my mind.  I have a show with Patty, whose writing I just
worship, Heart, who I grew up on, and Edwin who is like THE MAN all within 2
weeks of eachother.  LOL  I still can't believe it.  I swear to you I NEVER
thought I'd ever get this chance.  This is the most amazing thing!
