I live in Nashville and have two extra tickets to the Indigo Girls show at AmSouth on Thursday (the 13th) at 8 pm. The tix are 16th row (the best I could do buying them the first hour the were on sale!) and a little right of the center. I will sell them to someone or sometwo for $50 a ticket (which is actually 35" less than I paid for them from ticketmaster). The two seats are together. I'm only selling them because I won two more from the radio and only needed two. Email me at taylorlw@pop.belmont.edu and let me know as soon as possible! i'd prefer someone who lives here of course but if you'll drive in town for the show we can just meet up somewhere, no problem! th ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 Jun 2002 17:04:07 -0400 From: "Carl Kremer" Subject: MM: Patty chords & tabs Wondering if anyone out there has figured out guitar chords or tabs for any songs from 1000 kisses. I was thinking of doing a cover of one of Patty's new songs at an open mic night...maybe Chief? Anyway, let me know if anyone's got them. I'm going to figure out the chords myself when I get a chance, but I didn't want to duplicate anything else that's already been done. - -carl ps--It's been quiet out there recently. WOW. I went with someone who was pretty ho hum about going. By the end of the evening she didn't want to leave! Patty was electric, and she really loved the audience, who were THRILLED to see her in Colorado. I was mere feet from her (dressed as she was in a pale cream gown and platform burgundy shoes, her hair a mess of red curls on top of her head) and was mesmerized. Saw Don briefly but couldn't get back to him--good to see you though Don! My friend said Don looked intent--I said "yep, he is." : ) By the way Don, since you've seen her so many times, how did Patty's Boulder show compare to the rest?? Songs I remember (probably an incomplete set list, but hey...) Opened with "Chief"--AMAZING (i got chills) Rain Be Careful Flaming Red Tony Mad Mission Long Ride home Poor Man's House Forgiveness (she did those back to back, just like the album) Stolen Car (my friend is a Huge Springsteen fan and she was muy impressed) Makin Pies Mil Besos Tomorrow Night Truth # 2 (never heard that one before--soooooooo wonderful) I'm probably forgetting something, but it's because I'm still in AWE. pray for rain...
