When I called yesterday for tickets, they were ALREADY Sold Out! I'm so bummed out, but even more so b/c Don drives ALL OVER the freaking USA to see Patty, and now he can't even see her the 1st time she's going to be in his VERY OWN home town! This is terrible, god-awful, atrocious, not to mention a major, major catastrophe! The new movie The Sum of All Fears is about a nuclear bomb hitting the US (I think), well.. this pretty much sums up the Sum of All Fears for me.. missing a Patty show that I fully intended to go to, and ALREADY paid money for(4 times the cost of 1 ticket) specifically so I could get in! So, I am going to start begging now.. if anyone comes up with any extra tickets for this show, please, PLEASE keep Don & I in your thoughts. Don is of course, 1st priority since it is just down the road a piece from his house... instead of 3,000 miles to LA! LOL I'd love to make the trip out to Pittsburgh for this, but it's probably not worth my while to make the trip out there just for her free show later that night. 2 shows in one day would definitely do the trick though. :-) Ok, so let's do a little test here.. There will be a quiz in about a week when I start getting stressed about us REALLY not being able to go to this thing. LOL & any of you fail the quiz.. well, there's nothing I can do about it. :-( This is just another stroke of bad luck in a series of things for me. In the past few weeks my dog nearly died, and needed 2 emergency surgeries.. my uncle is dying, I nearly got stranded on the Chesapeake Bay during a thunderstorm b/c the boat I was on blew up.. LOL I just took my car in for inspection this morning, and it's going to cost nearly $800 to pass.. and yesterday it was the Patty tickets! Next thing you know, I'm going to be the victim of an ultra-rare case of Spontaneous Human Combustion, and you'll never have to read pathetic posts like this from me again...
