So, naturally I thought I would let you all know. The song is called 'My Beat', and if you can get past Bruce's vocals, which i didn't care for, Patty is, of course, great! Take care all... That song is on regular rotation on my digital TV Progressive Rock station, so Patty's getting some airtime there too. It's a pretty good song. And I'm still high from last night's webcast. I just sat here with my headphones on, in my own little Patty world...life was good for a while. Thank God for music. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 5 Apr 2002 09:31:29 EST From: ABershaw@aol.com Subject: MM: Yesterday's Broadcast -trades? list CDR tree? Hi all, I delurk after a long time... The broadcasts from WRLT were lots of fun yesterday. Very enjoyable! I'm not in Nashville, so I couldn't receive the FM signal but I did feed both stereo webcasts directly to DAT at 44.1k and they sound relatively good for webcasts. Including the two live duets she did with Michael Fricasso(sp?), everything just fits on an 80 minute CD. If anyone here might enjoy trading, send a list along. And if anyone managed to get one or both broadcasts digitally recorded from the Lightning 100 FM signal, I'd enjoy trading other Patty recordings for it. This material is screaming for a free list distribution CDR Tree, and I'd be happy to master the "seed discs" if better copies are available. Drop me a line. I'm on digest, so please CC any replies to me directly. In the meantime, here's the tracklist on my DAT->CD of the webcasts. While the seachable archives of the smoe.org lists are still a little while off (but definetely coming!), there is an easily readable archive of all the lists at http://www.smoe.org/lists Then just scroll down until you find the Mad Mission list. If looking for archived posts just about news about Patty, use the Mad Mission News archives at the same page. This is my first post to the list, and I actually have something substantial to offer... I have a live cd of Patty's performance at the Starr Hill - Charlottesville, VA on July 28, 2001. A very generous Patty fan (generous & Patty fan seem to be synonymous) offered a "cd weed" to 4 very lucky people a few weeks ago. I was one of those fortunate people. The rules are: I need to offer to at least 4 people, 2 of which shall have cd burning capabilities, and who will continue this weed offering in the same manner... So, if you are interested in not pulling this weed out, but watering and nurturing it so that it may become overgrown and out of control, please email me at: jestereign@msn.com I do not have alot of rare Patty tunes or shows, so I would prefer to trade this show for another cd of rare Patty. Basically I only have the Silver Bell EP, LWG & FR. But I am not closed minded, and will offer this to those who also do not have anything to brag about trading-wise... If this is the case, (3) $0.34 stamps, 1 blank cd, and a return address will be the key to landing your very own copy of an intimate show capturing Patty and her accompanying guitarist. Please do not reply to this list - email me directly. Thank you for all having excellent musical tastes, and here's to Patty's next musical venture...
