No, what are YOU doing? Watching the market wrap, drinking an import. WESSAAHH! Don't you just LOOOOVVEEE February? I'm starting to get into a better mood already. The temperatures start getting back into the 70s, the Mardi Gras thing is still going on with everyone getting naked, the cabana boys start taking drink orders from the beachside again, and the Love From My Lips is blaring in my speakers. How pimpin awesome is that? These CDs are total phat ass. It's a total adrenaline rush. Take me now, God, it doesn't get any better than this! And I had a brilliant V-day spending it with the one I love...and I drank her beautiful 20 ounces down 4 wonderful times (and the fourth one was free too!). If I can do this right, I'm gonna lift a car stereo CD player out of someone's car in the parking lot here and secretly replace it with my crappy radio. Let's see if they notice. Then I'll be able to hear Love From My Lips while riding in my T. Okay, I don't really call it a T, but it sounds better than Tempo...or Tempo-rary. Of the choices available to me, I think T has a bit more class and style...both of which I could use more anyway I can get them. What was I talking about? Oh yeah, Love From My Lips. Hey, Don. Thank you very very very much. These CDs definitely kick it. Kick it like death rock. It will tide me over till Interslow releases Silver Bell, or at least until I'm 30 (whichever comes first). Getting Love From My Lips has allowed me to actually lend Living With Ghosts and Flaming Red to a friend...you know, so he gets converted...that kind of thing. For the record, I like the first CD better than the second, and I don't know why. It might have to do with "We are Water" being on the first one, but I don't really know yet. It'll come to me. Maybe I should call that infomercial chick "Miss Cleo" and ask for a tarot reading on that. Or maybe she should lose the obviously fake Jamaican accent first. Anyway, just a quick, yet warm and sincere, thank you to all who made Love From My Lips possible. Hmmmm....for some reason, that previous sentence just doesn't sound right. Gotta go pimp and drink some 40s....or work, that would be good too. Can someone tell me what Love From My Lips is? I take it is some unreleased performance that was put on CD and someone set up a tree for it. Can someone give me some details? Is it too late to get in on the tree. Perhaps someone can do a b&p. I guess I should find out what it is first. : ) I joined the list so that I can stay up to date on news of Patty Griffin, the new CD, upcoming media performances, etc. and talk with others who are also fans. I guess I should say hello. I'm new. I'm a Patty Griffin fan. My only exposure to her is from her FR and LWG CDs, and from a live performance I saw of her on Austin City Limits. I heard her do one of the new songs then, and have been anxiously waiting for her next CD. I had heard it was to be released last Fall, and then I heard it was going to be released in 2001. And so I am anxiously waiting for it still. : ) Thanks, ~Riff "Don't just exist.
