I don't know the real reason, but I'll speculate: the end of the year is the time when big-name artists release albums just in time for christmas... so i think this year, just to name a few, here's what is coming out: radiohead, dave matthews band, 2 christina aguilera albums, madonna, and tons of others that i can't remember off the top of my head. Because of this and the season, it's also really expensive to shelve records. And then the record might get lost in the shuffle... Just a guess, though!
