I was wondering if anyone had heard of her or dug her, in any way. I was wondering what some other people,with obvious good taste in music (obvious brown nosing attempt here) thought of her music. or if they even knew her music. my lil ol opinion...she was good. very lively. you could tell that she totally loved being up there. she would jump around and tell stories....and she was so small, but just strumming as hard as her lil arms would allow. kinda cute. she resembled ani difranco's music...and i dont know if i was totally down with that aspect. and i think that is why im iffy about the concert. because i just dont know...she sounded so much like ani, it was like, "um, so is this a conscious attempt at sounding like ani, or coincidence?" so instead of enjoying the music, i was scratching my head, trying to figure it out. but she was good. and it was a free concert. so no complaining. now only if the beer had been free....damn! but yeah. so...anybody? - -lil kate ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V4 #203 *********************************
