I can hardly ever chime in, though. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio... as you can guess, very few great acts play through here... so, I do enjoy to hear everyone elses stories of seeing such artists as Patty. >smile< Although, I do get to go and see David Gray and Leona Naess this evening... I dreamt that I was able to get front row tickets to the Dixie Chicks and was right in front of Patty.. This dream was a little bit random.. Not only did Patty sing some great songs but she(some how knowing that I was her number 1 fan) gave me a carrot cake donut, she asked me if I liked that kind and I said "sure".. she then told me that carrot cake donuts were also her favorite.:) Then she gave me a necklace... the dream was really strange but very good:).. Anyway, I thought I'd share that story with you:) Does anyone know of anybody with extra tickets to the Dixie Chicks concert here in Salt Lake City:)... I'd pay top dollar!:) Jenna Land ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2000 18:47:25 EDT From: Songbird22@aol.com Subject: Re: MM: Greetings matt says: > such artists as Patty. >smile< > Although, I do get to go and see David Gray and Leona Naess this evening... Leona Naess is AWESOME!! I'd highly recommend her album "Comatised" -- very cool stuff. :) www.leonanaess.com Jess www.jessicaweiser.com | mp3.com/jessweiser ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2000 23:28:15 EDT From: NeuroticView@aol.com Subject: MM: Wonderful Leona Naess is awesome, her cd is beautiful.. and, she herself put on a wonderful show this evening. The crowd was small, and mostly there to see David Gray.... but, she still did wonderful. David Gray did a very good, but long set. He was up there for over an hour. Although I do enjoy him... I found myself very tired and with sore feet. My friend and I left before his second 'come back out' (it is late, I am tired, i can not remember the correct termanlogy). The crowd was not what I expected. IT seemed. .the influence of Dave Matthews plugging has brought a huge college crowd to the show. And, (This may sound funny coming from a 17 year old), the college crowd was loud, rude.. and reminded me all too much of my horrible expierence at the Dave Matthews Band concerct last year. Liz: Yes, I did see Patty perform at Lilith Fair. I made sure my friend and I were there just in enough time to see her. I thought she was good, but very short set. When she opened for Lucinda Williams.. about a year ago though, Patty did a wonderful opening w/ almost all the songs off of 'Flaming Red'. Were you able to catch that show?
