Hey all - I don't know if anyone in the world but me was watching that horrible made by MTV movie last night, but there's a site advertising on MTV that is just for women (and I never did get the URL - anyone else have it?) and they're using "Blue Sky" for the theme music. Finally, Patty on MTV! :-) TNB ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2000 10:38:08 EST From: Femboty2k@aol.com Subject: MM: Question about "One Big Love" Did they use the music for "One Big Love" in a Gap commercial some time ago? The begining of the song sounds so familiar to me. I just know I heard it before I actually started listening to Patty which was back in August '98. Could be wrong, but just thought I'd ask. So forgive me but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it! Anyway, I am curious as to what the MMers think of Patty's songs on the two soundtracks I found at CDnow.com; Niagra, Niagra and Anywhere But Here. As a lover of Patty, I have just begun to collect her "rarities," (MUCH thanks to Jen for making my copy) and I want to own as much as possible. What is the consensus of Patty's songs on these two soundtracks? Also, I am greatly looking forward to my first live Patty experience in April in Lebanon, NH. It seemed like it took forever for Patty to come visit us out here in the sticks! Any speculation/guesses/psychic prognostications as to what Patty might play at that show? Who am I kidding, she could stand there and hum "Little Ducky," and it would still raise the hair on my arms straight up! Just curious on these topics... Hey guys, It seems like there will be a good many MM'ers at the Lebanon, NH show on the 7th. It would be a good idea (if anyone could suggest any surrounding taverns, restaurants etc.) for us to plan on getting together before the show! I know Don, Karla, and myself will be there..and Evil Gary and Becca said they were going. I believe there were some other posts earlier from people that will be attending... To answer your question Becca, I'm guessing this show will be used for Patty to play her new songs live. Probably more for her, than for the fans actually. She'll play plenty of material from the first 2 CD's, and probably from Rarities also, no need to worry about hearing NOTHING that sounds familiar to you. If anyone is familiar with the area, and has a suggestion on someplace to meet beforehand, let us know! Take care, Dave ****************************************** We Are Water, We flow and flow I feel you pouring through Every inch, of my soul I really must tell you this Baby before you go.. Thanks for answering my question Dave, I appreciate it. As for a place for MMers to meet, I was planning a drive up to Lebanon in March, sorta to scope out the Opera House and also to figure out my travel time in advance, so I can take a look around for a place. I'm only about 2 hours or so away I think and it's no problem for me to suggest somewhere convenient. I would bet that there is somewhere in the immediate vicinity to meet for anyone hoping to catch up with the members of this list. ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V4 #62 ********************************
