Ruby Thanks for the tip. I just transferred mine onto a 90 minute tape by editing out "Toni" & "Every Little Bit" because they are on the CDs.The timing was very close though , even the same tapes don't have indentical running times. I found this out when I tried to dub one tape onto another one that was exactly the same & it didn't record the whole thing. So if anybody else tries it , you may not be as lucky & have to try more tapes or edit more out. I used some 120 minute tapes a long time ago & had problems with them. I don't think any of them broke but they would bind up or flutter. The most recent thing I saw on the subject recommended not using anything longer than 90 minutes. "Worn out & holy , holy as Jesus. Thanks for the holiday greeting! Any time you want to discuss lyrics or something , you can post it , & anyone that's interested can reply by posting or directly to you. I've never seen or heard her do Nebraska , but she did "Racin' in the Streets" in NY & she has a dynamite version of "Stolen Car" on the rarities tape. I never noticed either one of them much until Patty did then , but the strong writing in them impresses me. Patty is not afraid to pick songs with strong writing when she chooses covers , even though she's a writer. Hopefully it's because she knows she'll never suffer in comparison. I like Bruces more powerful music , Especially the "Born to Run' album. I hope you enjoy the MM experience. I'm floating the idea of a compilation video if there's enough video out there to make it worthwhile. Anyone who has any footage, including her few TV appearances , that would be interested in duplicating it & sending it to me for compiling , let me know. If there's a substantial amount , I'll post a solicitation to find out how many people are interested before I ask for tree helpers. If it's not worthwhile , perhaps we can try again after the Sessions airing. "Something is happening. We can't deny it. Nature's askin' us to do the natural thing.
