Effective immediately [without any advance notice from its former home] and all that good stuff. If you or any of your subscribers are Sarah fans, please let them know that the former list @ yoyo.cc.monash.edu.au WILL be shutting down soon, and that folks need to unsub from that list and sub to fte@smoe.org. If they have any questions, they can write me at stewartj@seanet.com. Thanks! No money exchanged, of course. Jen sent me some extra Rarities 1 tape tree covers a while back, and maybe she would send me some more if I need them {Jen?}. If I get bombarded with requests, then maybe we need to set up another tape tree project- enlist a couple of people to help me. The tape tree is a wonderful collection of unrecorded Patty songs and /or arrangements {acoustic Tony}{remix of Every Little Bit and Let Him Fly with the band- wonderful versions} that Jen put together about a year ago from concert tapes and many people on the list have it already. The Catie Curtis list did a tape tree in which 12 people volunteered to be branches, they each got assigned a month, and people then contacted their birthday month branch person to make mailing tape arrangements, etc. No other organization was needed and it seemed to work out well. I am willing to organize that if needed. If Jen cannot come up with more of her really nice J-cards, well, I can print up song lists anyway. Some songs I love off that tape: Connie And Val, You Decided, Under These Clouds, Off You Go, Unnecessary, Boxes, Bubba's Silky Lounge, Nobody's Crying, Calling Me Home, Falling Down, We Are Water, Stolen Car, Long Road Home, One More Girl, Illusions, Regarding Mary- and lots more. Patty could easily make another couple of great albums if only she would! Tape Tree 2 is wonderful also with more goodies, but that will have to wait until Jen is ready with the final version. For now, I can handle the first few people that make a request to me.
