They show a real person. A person who is not afraid to be real. Patty looks beautiful on LWG as well. We women are way too hard on each other. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Oct 1999 20:00:27 -0500 From: "C. Minter" Subject: Re: MM: new album? Hmmm, so Patty's recording her 3rd album in a church, huh? Let's see, her first album was acoustic and confessional. Her second album showcased her talent for working with other musicians and highlighted her ability to tell stories through song, and her 3rd album will be recorded in a church near where she lives. I don't know about the rest of you, but the career paths/choices of Patty and Tori Amos seem to parallel more and more. I guess for this 3rd album we should expect Baroque instruments and help from local Austin choirs and bagpipe players (or is it "bagpipers"?). Not to mention the raging debate on solo live shows vs. the full band... C'mon fellow Toriphiles! Don't ya see a connection? -Cristina **************************************** "No one dared, no one cared to tell me where the pretty girls are--those demi-gods-- with their nine-inch nails and little fascist panties tucked inside the heart of every nice girl." -Tori Amos, "Precious Things" **************************************** - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Monday, October 11, 1999 7:35 PM Subject: Re: MM: new album? > Hey Mad Mishers...
