Everything was fine until she said "Oh, they didn't have to put in that scene with the girls kissing, it was disgusting." She then went on to say that she "didn't believe in that kind of stuff" and that what they were doing was wrong and made her sick. >> Isn't it amazing that some people can watch brains and guts strewn all over a movie screen and not object, but let them show 2 girls kissing and they go ballistic? Do you suppose they believe in that kind of stuff? I want to say thanks to RON for taking us out for THAI food afterwards, that was very sweet and I wish you would have come to The Bitter End with me. We would have had fun. Instead I am home with tons of studying to do. Please get in touch with me, we have lots of trading to do. Shalmalee and Lauren, good luck to you two with your music! I hope I can come hear it some day! Please write me and keep in touch. As for Patty, she was spectacular. I saw the piano and right away wondered if she would do "Peter Pan" but I knew she had trouble playing it before. She messed up about three times but it was so cute and the whole audience laughed and clapped. She finally got it going and it was wonderful. That is what she ended with. The band was great too--the base player makes really funny faces but other than that they sounded good. They were a little overpowering her in "Flaming Red" and another song she did that I hadn't heard before (it is not on any cd yet). I couldn't really hear her words on those two songs. She did a lot of songs off of the "Flaming Red" cd and I wished she had done more from LWG. What she did do was perfect! Well, sorry about my ramblings! I wish I could have met more mad missioners. I had my m&m's in the beginning but I got hungry and ate them. Anne, Liz, and I were the first ones there. We got there at 11:30am! What a great concert. I can't wait to hear what everyone else thought. Sweet Dreams Tonight... Michelle--NYU ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V3 #281 *********************************
