Flaming Red was earth shattering! However, I still miss the good old days where it was just her and a guitar. I would have liked her to do at least one acoustic number...maybe Poor Man's House. That would have probably worked better than the very hard rocking Little God....considering the venue. Had she played "Sweet Lorraine," "Goodbye" and "Little God" that night, however, (instead of "Wiggley Fingers," "Change" and "One Big Love") I think I would have dealt with it better. Don't get me wrong--I like the latter three, and I'm not yet entirely hooked by "Little God," but "Sweet Lorraine" and "Goodbye" just blow me away! I see an artist with that name slated to play Bumbershoot here in Seattle on September 4, and was wondering if it's him. If so, any chance Patty'll join him on stage for a number or two? ;-) Dave ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 11 Aug 1999 19:39:47 -0300 From: David Lewis Subject: Re: MM: NPC: Troy Campbell >Sorry for the non-strictly-Patty content, but is Patty's SO's name Troy >Young Campbell? I see an artist with that name slated to play Bumbershoot Last I heard, Troy Campbell was Patty's boyfriend. I saw him open for her in Northampton a while ago (yeanr and half ago?). He's not bad. But I don't think they've shared the stage any time recently. - ---------------------------- David Lewis dlewis@hfx.andara.com - ---------------------------- ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V3 #235 *********************************
