She sang 4 songs: Change Blue Sky Tony Wiggley Fingers Then she came out and signed autographs. I took a bunch of pictures that I'll put up on my website when I get them developed (I have to finish the role of film so expect a few weeks) I'll post the address then too. Patty seemed really tired. Does anyone know if her mom tours with her because there was this woman who looked exactly like her there just a bit older and everyone seemed to be talking to her. Also, does anyone know the name of the crazy guitar player? The one with the wierd facial expressions all the time, I think his first name is Brad. Anyway, I can't make the show tonight at Clutch Cargo so could anyone that's going please post a review :) Thanks, Jen ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 15 May 1999 11:40:22 -0400 From: Han Subject: Re: MM: PG @ Harmony House At 11:22 AM 5/15/99 -0400, Jennifer Lynn Caputo wrote: >I know I don't post much but I just got back from seeing Patty Griffin out >at Harmony House. When I went on Patty's tour bus last week (I am new, but I posted about this), that woman was there too... and I wondered. Patty seemed really tired to me, too. And that woman was really odd.. very excited, very haggard. When I was getting on the tourbus, the guitar player was heading in the opposite direction and he stopped, looked me in the eyes and widened his eyes and snarled vaguely. It scared the crap outta me! Weird folks, but interesting. Han ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 16 May 1999 20:35:47 -0700 From: Mike Bauer Subject: MM: re Joe Rathbone Hi All - Mike here. I tried to send this BEFORE the actual show, but it appears that because I sent it from a new email address, MM didn't post it. At any rate - Sharyn Murray mentioned an upcoming show with the Joe Rathbone band - I highly recommend you check them out. Sharyn mentioned she may be there and to keep an eye out for her - well, you can probably see her at any of their shows cause' in an a selfless attempt to promote Joe, she left out one little detail - she sings with them - and she's d@mn good! Be sure to check them out if you get a chance - and definitely say hello to Sharyn. :o) Patty related - Seattle stations (well - ok - one) are finally getting Patty some airplay - heard Blue Sky the other day. Woo Hoo take care all, ~m PS - Charl - if you read this, ping me - long time, no "see" ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V3 #140 *********************************
