I have been trying desperately to get tix to Patty's 4/16 show @ Fez in NYC. I live in NYC, I've been to Fez before but I got in on the standing room only line to see Melissa Ferrick (amazing show!). There is NO WAY I will chance seeing Patty, in fact I'm tempted to go both nights (she has a monday show too). Anyhow, has anyone else tried to get tickets to this show -- successful or not? I've waited too long to see her (once when I brought her to my school - Bowdoin College - in 1996, and not long thereafter at Raoul's Roadside attraction in Portland, ME)!!!!!! Thanks everyone, Shannon ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 06 Apr 1999 22:15:28 -0500 (CDT) From: Julie E Graham Subject: MM: Newbie in Knoxville Hi, I just joined the list, and I've been enjoying reading your posts the past few days. Is anyone here going to see Patty 4/29 in Knoxville? I'd love to say hi. Contact me privately if you want to get together. Bye, Julie "Raised by Wolves in Alaska. Learned to yodel at the moon. I've got an idea : ) Hey everybody, Here I am just sitting at my computer and I had a GREAT idea!!! Most of you know that I'm on a personal crusade to see Patty, well here goes nothing... I'm on a jewel list (Shoot me! I like her) and they have this thing called JEWELSTOCK (which Patty played at, I don't know when). Anyway, I was thinking, if Jewel can have a thing like that (3 days of fun, music, blah...blah) why can we do that for Patty. Admittedly, we all love what she does. Doesn't she deserve to know that? and I think it would be a great chance for some of us to meet. It would also be a chance to meet Patty (Sorry, dreaming again!). Anyhow, Mike might be the best person to arrange a thing like that but, how does everybody feel about my brilliant brainwave? hehehe!!!
