I'm sure everyone on the list would appreciate a review/synopsis? >What the fuck?!!!!! > >Oh, EXCUSE ME I'm not supposed to curse BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON >HERE. One thing that is kind of annoyoing... and you are not the only offender Howard, is when people respond to the digest version without changing the subject line. What we end up with is a lot of posts with subjects like "MM: Re: mad-mission-digest V2 #371" which isn't very helpful in deciding which emails you want to open and read if you're on the loose version of the list. Proper subjects lines are a good thing :) - ---------------------------- David Lewis Digital & Print Media Design dlewis@hfx.andara.com - ---------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Dec 1998 11:13:52 EST From: CornflkGl@aol.com Subject: Re: MM: Re: mad-mission-digest V2 #371 You know, if you're gonna have such a potty mouth, you should at least have the courtesy to tell us what the heck you're screaming about. Dave ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Dec 1998 21:37:44 -0600 From: HAW3065@ACS.TAMU.EDU Subject: MM: KGSR- Nashville I am sooooo frustrated. I was on the KRLT sight for an hour while the opening act was playing, and then no sooner did Patty get through the verse few verses of TONY did the sight boot me off. I tried for 20 or so minutes to get back on but it kept giving me a bad address message. Ughh. Anyway, if anyone happened to record this, and would like to trade for maybe her Austin City Limits KGSR show from Friday night, please let me know. Or trade for something else. Also, does any one know how to get a hold of a "press kit" on Patty? I think Lamia was talking to about this one at one time. Um, Jessica S., if you happen to be reading this, please email me, your emails keep getting returned to me. Well, have a great Monday everyone. Same thing here....I was recording the whole show (opening act too), and seconds into Tony, it rebuffered due to net congestion, then about a minute in it stopped and I got an "Requested file not found......" Went back to the website and reclicked the link and same error. So I doubt anyone got the show....looks like something went down in flames at the Nashville end. DAGNABIT!!!!! I will let everyone know what they tell me. I will also go to broadcast.com and ask them the same questions. I tried to call up the broadcast from their site, and also got the same message. I then filed a complaint to them (as I was sitting here almost in tears..), the site said that they will e-mail me within the next 24 hours and let me know what happned..that's nice to know after the broadcast if over..but I want ANSWERS!! I'm so very sad...:( Anyway..I'll keep everyone updated on what I find... Dave ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Dec 1998 23:07:17 -0800 From: "J. Pruitt / C. I'm sorry that the webcast pooped out on all who tried to connect. I recorded it on the radio. I've only listened to a few minutes of it, but it seems like it recorded fine. I'm willing to make copies for people if they need/want them. To Heather, yes I would love to trade you for the Austin City Limits show. Email me and let's work something out. I grabbed one of the set lists and this is EXACTLY what it says: Tony Go Now Christina Eat My Poop! [I'm not making this up!] Change Blue Sky Wiggly Breakin' Up... Goodbye Flaming Red Little God Mary After the broadcast was over she came back and did an acoustic "Crazy." It was exquisite. The lights went out (accidentally) right at the end of "Flaming Red." She was going to do something acoustic while they figured out what happened to the lights but the lights came back on so they did "Little God." She was pretty talkative and mentioned hanging out with her buddies from Nashville today. By the way, I won the new Lyle Lovett CD in a contest they did right before Patty came out. YEAH!!!!! I've been wanting to listen to it. THe question they asked was what the name of his CD is and I shouted it loudest and quickest!!! :) Anyway, that's all for now. What a great show. Patty ROCKS!!! :))))) Cristina ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V2 #373 *********************************
