I tried to find out some info on the web sight but found nothing. Also, I was reading this article about Patty from the Austin-American Statesman, I think from July. Anyway, it's a great article if ya'll can get ahold of it. In particular, I found this little quote by Ms. Griffin to be quite amusing. "When you're a small woman with an acoustic guitar working by yourself, people tend to pat you on the head, you know, or compare you to Jewel. That wasn't for me." She went on to say something to the effect of how she was totally floored that people were labeling her as a folk musician. The first line of the article she said, "Sometimes, you just have to kick yourself in the ass." Just thought I'd shared a bit of dry Patty humor to brighten your day.
