Greenfield" Subject: MM: NJC: Cindy Lee Berryhill in L.A. 4/16/98 Hi! I'm sending this "reminder" to each of you with a *Bacon Factor* of one or less vis`a-vis this great artist, as a reminder of the rare and unique opportunity to hear the remarkable talents of Cindy Lee Berryhill, live, on earth, and SOON! Date: April 16 (that's THIS Thursday) Time: 9:31 p.m. (so, set the VCR for Seinfeld, Must Tape TV) Place: Genghis Cohen Cantina, on Fairfax, in Los Angeles This should be a terrific show. I wouldn't want to say I missed alerting anyone to it. Seeya! - -=-Larry-=- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 Apr 1998 16:46:36 -0700 From: Glennia Campbell Subject: MM: Benefits in Austin Hello, all! Just wanted to let you know about two upcoming benefit concerts in Austin that you might be interested in. The first one is Monday, April 20 at the Continental Club on South Congress, and will feature Toni Price, the Damnations, Scrappy Jud and the Southbound Monarchs, Loose Diamonds, and several *special* guests... The second is on Saturday, May 2 at the Hole in the Wall on Guadalupe near UT campus and will feature Beaver Nelson, Walter Tragert, Dickie Lee Erwin, and more *special* guests. (Read: *special* meaning their management won't let us advertise them). The proceeds will go to the "Baby Nicolas Fund", to help defray medical costs for my nephew, Nicolas Campbell, who was diagnosed with a heart arythmia shortly after he was born. His dad, Mike, is bass player for Loose Diamonds, and several of his musician friends came up with the idea for the benefits to help with costs of Nicolas' medical care. Like too many people, as a musician Mike is underinsured to pay for all the specialists, poking, prodding, testing and hospitalization that goes along with having a sick child. The musicians are all very generously donating their time and effort to this, and are all terrific artists and people. If you haven't heard their music, you should definately give them a listen! I understand that our friend Patty won't be in town for the first event, but will be with us in spirit. I think she is in Nashville right now. (Didn't want you to get your hopes too high...) I will be in town for the first event and hope to see you! Glennia (the "i" is silent) ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V2 #98 ********************************
