This is mostly for AOL folk on the list as a large majority of the cases are AOLers, but it may apply to others as well depending on how they configure their email accounts. More and more of you that subscribe to the loosemail version of the list have been blocking email from particular list members. That is fine as a personal choice. However, it causes problems on my end. What happens when you do this is, each rejected/blocked email is "returned to sender", and the sender is owner-mad-mission@smoe.org, which is me. In other words, the email you blocked comes to my mailbox. I get enough email from administering this and other lists as it is. So, I have been forced to adopt a new policy. From this point on, anytime I get an email returned to the list's owner because someone configured their email to block/reject list-delivered email from someone else subscribed to the list, I am going to move the person doing the blocking to the digest version of this list. You would then still get all the email from the list, it would just be in digest form (i.e. 15 to 20 emails in one digest, rather than 15 to 20 individual emails). I will, at the same time, send the person moved a copy of this email so they know what happened. If that person removes the blocks, they can then return to the regular version of the list. Sorry, but this is something I have to do. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
