I do that so I won't freak out if I think she might be on TV sometime. I did that after seeing all these emails yesterday - nothing came up. Usually I'll put in any artists I like - I always throw the Dixie Chicks in there - they are usually on sometime. Funny dream - I just woke up - I met a woman who was learning Patty Griffin songs - she happened to be the girl on Becker (the one in the coffee shop) playing an electric guitar. But started playing "Go Now" not sure why, then "Tony" - as she was doing that I was scrambling to get my guitar, then I couldn't remember what fret to put the capo on and neither did she. I told her to keep pickin' the notes while I strummed and sang but I couldn't find out where to put my fingers for the chords. Then she kept turning up and down the volume while she was playing and it was pissing me off. Then when she finally started playing good - I started to sing and she would stop playing. My friends kept saying - why can't you play these - you know how. This was more like a nightmare! Those of you who like to analyze dreams - I got it - very simple. if you guys have been reading all of the emails you'll know where this came from. At 49 1/2............I hope I'm only halfway. I'm proud that I can discover Patty at this stage in my life............that means I'm still growing.
