I was thinking along the same lines during part of my drive. My take on it is that she not only tells the story of the song , but lives it out emotionally as she's singing it. As truth is gathered I rearrange Inside out , outside in Inside out , outside in Perpetual change Jon Anderson / Chris Squire "Perpetual Change" Performed by Yes One of the things that I noticed about Patty is that she sometimes disappears into her songs. I watched her years ago sing "Change" and realized that toward the end of the song, she was "gone" from the audience and had so completely merged with the lyrics and melody and rhythm that she was almost a little startled when she ended her singing and came back to the realization that there were people watching her. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 10 Jun 2002 00:41:49 -0400 From: "Don Henn" Subject: Fw: MM:Solana Beach Thanks for the compliment.
