I've been a fan of Patty's for about a year now. She did Tony at WAM, it was awesome. I wasn't on the list back when she did WAM so I missed the discussion if there was any about WAM. I was bummed that she didn't do Moses, that's one of my favorite songs. Along with the " chicks that rock" discussion....some chicks that ROCK that actually played the bill with Patty at WAM are Antigone Rising. Are there any other Antigone fans here? WAMfest was so awesome this yeat....Antigone Rising and Patty were the best performers there...they made WAM what it was this year. If anyone is into really energetic and fun rock shows, and being around really nice and fun fans, check out Antigone Rising...they are some of the nicest people and most talented people I have ever met. VH1 rated them as one of the top ten unsigned bands in the country not too long ago. Check them out: www.antigonerising.com I have enjoyed reading the discussions on this list, it seems like Patty has some really nice fans. I'm looking forward to seeing her again. Do any exist? Her song lyrics seem so ripe for visual interpretation. I'm used to not seeing music videos for the artists I love. I live in a backwards part of the world where we only get vh1 and cmt. I did see my first Kasey Chambers video the other day though......that was fairly exciting. If there are videos, and someone out there has a copy and would be willing to help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Not that my powers of persuasion are very strong. I still haven't managed to get anyone from the list to make me a faux SILVER BELL..... Take Care, mike ------------------------------ End of mad-mission-digest V6 #217 *********************************
