My quotes and apostrophes somehow converted to numbers. What a bummer. Meanwhile, thanks to Larry I for being attentive and correcting the song order. For historical accuracy, here is Patty9s amended set list from May 30th: Chief Rain Long Ride Home Makin9 Pies Be Careful Flaming Red Poor Man9s House Top of the World Truth #2 Goodbye Ruby9s Arms Mad Mission Mil Besos 1st Encore Let Him Fly Tomorrow Night Sweet Lorraine 2nd Encore Mary ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jun 2002 00:55:02 -0700 From: Pamela Pollock Subject: MM: L.A. Show My first Patty show...you could have picked my jaw up off of the floor. It was amazing. Ruby's Arms blew me away. Top of the World was great, too. Heck, it was all great. Can't wait to see her again! - -Pamela ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jun 2002 03:55:03 EDT From: Goodnessbeef@aol.com Subject: MM: NPC: Darcy Miner Hey MMers. I have a non-Patty question: I'm going to see Edwin McCain in July here in NC (who I highly recommend, by the way), and his opener is listed as Darcie Minor. Is this the same Darcy that frequents this list-serve? And, if so, where can I get a hold of some of her stuff? Any info would be much appreciated. ~Steph ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 1 Jun 2002 03:56:40 EDT From: Songbird22@aol.com Subject: Re: MM: NPC: Darcy Miner Steph writes: > I'm going to see Edwin McCain in July here in NC (who I highly recommend, by > the way), and his opener is listed as Darcie Minor. It was great to hear some of the Silver Bell songs - I really want that cd! (there was also a damn cute girl behind me who I chatted with about Wimbledon and Patty...) anyway, I was a little bummed Patty didn't do Tony or One More Girl but it was a great show :) Lisa ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 01 Jun 2002 18:30:59 +0000 From: "jason m." Subject: MM: Patty in LA, Patty in my head... Hello everyone! I've never written on this list but I just HAD to after seeing Patty live at the Troubadour!!! Woo hooooooooooooooo!!!!! Now, I tend to be critical just like all of you. I am sure and I could sit here and rattle on and on and on and ON about how her energy level wasn't acceptable or how her dress wasn't what I wanted it to be or some crap like that. I've read some of this on this list you know who you are(by the way I don't usually write to these lists because of the stupid comments people make force me to have to show them the light therefore NOT making any friends) [IMAGE]. But I digress.....I loved the Patty show. She looked fantastic. She sounded fantastic. It amazes me the noise that girl can make opening her mouth so little(as a singer I am sorely jealous). Her guitarist/co-producer was great. Ray Liotta(!) on the keyboards was not so bad himself(yes Aaron, I know) [IMAGE][IMAGE]. The only issue that I had WAS with the Photographer chick next to me(she's lucky that I am nice enough not to want to ruin the show for everyone else...) and the extremely RUDE girl that stood RIGHT in front of Patty screaming "BLUE SKY.....BLUE SKY.....BLUE SKY!!!!" right in her face. That girl racked up soooooooooo much bad Karma that night. But again I digress....I had a fantastic time!!! My favorite was Let Him Fly, Poor Man's House and Mary( I almost cried![IMAGE][IMAGE]). I made some new friends even! What can beat that??? Well thank you Patty for a lovely evening, thanks to my Patron Saint for the Hook up, Thanks to the Troubadour for being the fucked up place it is...Thank you all for being Patty fans...Ok I don't know [IMAGE]. I LOVE everyone! Ok sorry..how Julia Roberts of me. Cheers! jason "Hope sometimes can blind the heart, calling light what breathes like dark." -Sarah Masen - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail.
